Overview

Connects a WhatsApp Business number to Messaging Cloud so inbound messages arrive in the shared inbox and outbound messages, templates and campaigns can be sent.

Requirements

  • Meta Business account with admin access
  • A dedicated phone number not active on the WhatsApp app
  • Verified business display name
  • Approved templates for business-initiated messages

Configuration

    Authorise

    Grant RapidRoot access to the Meta Business account.

    Register the number

    Verify by SMS or voice code.

  3. 3

    Set the profile

    Display name, category, description and image.

  4. 4

    Submit templates

    Start with utility templates for the highest approval rate.

Example

A clinic connects one number, submits an appointment-reminder utility template, and routes replies to the front-desk queue with the chatbot collecting patient name and preferred slot.
